How do I setup a video conference call?

For meetings outside your office or location, we currently support Microsoft Lync in the following locations:

  • HPB 136 - Dean's Conference Room
  • HPB 334
  • HPB 204

Microsoft Lync is the new central Instant Messaging and Conferencing service at UC.  As a complement to the UCMAIL system, it offers these additional Unified Communications features:

  • Instant Messaging through a centralized service with Global Address List integration
  • Presence Indicator for real-time status information about your Contacts
  • Audio/Video Calling between two or more Lync users
  • Conferencing  with people inside *or* outside the University, with a web-based client for participants who don’t normally use Lync
  • Integration with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • Mobile access on Windows Mobile, Android, and iPhone/iPad devices
